Boys’ Soccer- 12 Consecutive Wins!

Last night’s game against Creekwood, with a score of 6-0, made for the twelfth consecutive win for Eagle Boys’ Soccer team. This includes six pre-season scrimmage wins and six season wins, counting a win against the in-county rival Dawgs last week.

Additionally last week, player Taylor Krebs was listed as MaxPreps/NSCAA high school player of the week from Tennessee. During the Bulldog/ Eagle in-county match up, he attained four goals and one assist.

At the beginning of the season, MaxPreps ranked East Hickman’s team as the seventh in national rankings. In individual national rankings listed on MaxPreps, Dylan Gianokos ranked twelfth in assists while Hunter Walker came at fifteenth in goals. Bailey Krebs followed at thirty-ninth in assists and Taylor Krebs as fortieth in goals. Senior Hunter Walker has been offered a soccer scholarship at Union University.

Best of luck, guys! Let the wins continue!

It’s a Wonderful Life— a Holiday Treat!

The Senior class does a wonderful job pulling on the heartstrings with their rendition of It’s a Wonderful Life. Gus Gilreath as George Bailey plays his role with emotion and a bit of Jimmy Stewart from the original movie classic. Peyton Couch embodies his role as the despicable Potter so well that the audience wants to cry out, “No!” when he palms the profit from the unknowing and bumbling Uncle Billy played by Cameron Woodard.

The nostalgic and warm music during the scene changes saturates the auditorium and allows the audience to slow down, think, remember, and feel during this holiday season!

Teams Dominate the Court in Season Opener!

White-Out! This was the theme of the basketball season opener. On this balmy November day, it is difficult to image white out conditions in the weather; however, both basketball teams blinded the opposition on the court this past Tuesday night! Girls’ final score was 43-16  while the boys’ team ended with a score of 62-29! Great start to the season!
